AllSwell notebooks held a seat at the launch of The American Institute of Architects’ new charitable foundation. On September 22, at a reception in The New York Times building, guests celebrated the power of design in our society. Touring “Pulitzer Hall” and getting a peek inside the storied boardroom of the laudable broadsheet, it was a special glimpse inside regularly-off-limits elements of the Renzo Piano-designed building. The institute proposed that our notebooks be the guests’ memento from the event. What better a way to end the night than taking home an outlet for creative brainstorming? The AIA Foundation is dedicated to the belief that good design is good for all and plays an essential role in transforming lives and building a better world. That’s a mission we can heartily support.
